This program is unique and equitable with the education offered to nurses at the Perth, Western Australia campus and is accreditated by the Singapore Nursing Board. Part time students may be offered 2 modules per semester. Delivery of course will have a combination of classroom lectures, tutorials, online and practical. Student learning is assessed from a theoretical and clinical practice perspective. Theory is assessed through problem-based learning via exams, essays, care studies, group work and student presentations.

Students must have a three-year diploma in nursing recognized by the University and be a registered nurse in their home country or have a Nanyang Polytechnic Diploma or Ngee Ann Polytechnic Diploma.

Students must submit a completed application form along with the non-refundable application fee of S$300. They should also submit NRIC, original Singapore nursing board certificate, original Singapore nursing board card, original or certified copy of all university degrees, original or certified copy of all academic transcripts, detailed curriculum vitae and four passport-sized photos.

The modules are as follows: Sociocultural Perspectives of Health, Professional Practice Issues, Health Assessment, Nursing and Midwifery Bioscience, Foundations of Health Care, Management in Health Care, Research Foundations in Nursing and Midwifery, Behavioral Responses to Illness.
