In this course students gain a broad knowledge of the discipline of psychology and its applications, including major theoretical perspectives within the discipline. In addition they will have knowledge of the range of core research areas that make up the scientific discipline of psychology and the research methodologies and statistical techniques commonly used by researchers for information gathering and analysis. They will be able to apply that knowledge when undertaking research activities. Any setting where knowledge of human behaviour and interactions is important may employ someone with a psychology background. Graduates will find employment in the human resource management, rehabilitation psychology, business psychology, teaching, scientific research, public counseling, defence psychology or special education.

Students need to have completed diploma, advanced diploma or a bachelor’s degree from recognized institutions.

Applicants must pay a non refundable application fee of SGD300 (full-time), SGD 100 (part-time) either by cash, local Singapore cheques (drawn on a bank in Singapore) or telegraphic transfer to the Melior Business School Pte Ltd. In addition to these, they must submit three passport-sized photos, RIC (copy of front and reel), GCE 'O' level certificate and 'A' level certificate (if any), other tertiary education graduation certificate and transcripts. One original copy of completed and duly signed application form along with the supporting documents must be sent to Melior Business School, Melior City Campus, 133 New Bridge Road, #03-44 to 49, Chinatown Point, Singapore 059413.
